Alpinsport Gratz is a second-generation family business and has been the leading sports store in Kals am Großglockner for 50 years.
In 1973 Peter Gratz Sr. opened the ski rental in Großdorf right next to the mountain railways. Hannes and Peter Gratz Jr. took over the ski rental business from their father in 1995. With the expansion of the ski area in 2008 by the Schulz Group and the construction of the Kals-Matrei ski area, business was added in the valley station of the gondola lift.
Alpinsport Gratz has also been exclusive since 2012 Hotel Gradonna Mountain Resort ****s represented.
Hannes is a qualified state ski instructor, an active mountain rescuer and worked for years as a coach for the Kals ski racing youth team (ÖSV D trainer license).
Skiing and mountaineering are not just his hobby, but his passion. You can feel his experience and know-how in every personal consultation.
Peter also grew up on skis and not only knows his way around the rental business, but is also our service professional.
